Ozamiz City Mayor Leads Ceremonial Signing of Deed of Donation for Urban Poor Housing

In a significant step towards urban development, Ozamiz City Mayor Atty. Indy Oaminal Jr. presided over the ceremonial signing of a conditional deed of donation between the Padayon Asenso Ozamiz Administration and beneficiaries of the Malaubang Urban Poor Housing project. The momentous event took place at the Asenso Ozamiz Session Hall on August 25, 2023.

The beneficiaries of the housing project were not only recipients of new homes but also received a generous contribution of 30,000 pesos each from Mayor Indy Oaminal, Congressman Ando, and Governor Henry. This financial support is aimed at facilitating a fresh start for the beneficiaries in their new residences.

The undertaking of this project signifies the commitment of the Asenso Ozamiz Administration to uplift the city's urban landscape. The initiative was initially set in motion during the tenure of former Mayor and current 2nd District Congressman Ando Oaminal, and it has continued to thrive under the leadership of former Congressman and present Governor Henry Oaminal. Mayor Indy Oaminal's administration has further propelled its growth and progress.

The beneficiaries expressed immense gratitude for the program, which not only provided them with free and comfortable homes but also symbolized a brighter future ahead.
